About
My research interests lie predominantly in the psychological implications of end-of-life care. Specifically, I am interested in the impact that death of an individual and the process of dying have on health care professionals, patients, families, and on society as a whole. In 2009, I completed a Master’s degree with a research into General Practitioners’ experiences with death and dying. At present, I am undertaking a PhD candidature to further understand the experiences of other medical specialists in dealing with death and dying in relation to life-threatening illnesses. I am also interested in palliative care, grief, and bereavement counselling.
